Teens Face Challenges in Finding Work

Teens face a double challenge in looking for jobs this summer. With the downturn in the economy, businesses in the entertainment and hospitality industries are hiring fewer summer workers. Many adult workers are looking for the jobs that traditionally teens have sought for summer employment. Statistics show that 33 percent of teenagers held summer jobs last year.
