Boys are twice a likely as girls to be struggling with behavior and emotional problems, according to report issued last week by the federal government's National Center for Health Statistics. Recent statistics also show that 57% of college students are women, and the effort to close the gender gap is now focused on increasing the academic achievements of boys.
